A harsh summer is to be expected, but none of the residents of Euphoria seem to take notice. For winter is the season of love, birth, and death amongst the dark cartographies. The lights and neutrals are not having quite an easy time, however. Accustomed to the warmth, they have packed together in an effort to stay warm..and out of the hands of the darks. Alliances are being joined and torn, and joined all over again. Chapter One: The Beginning
It's been almost a year since Melanie and Wanderer have began letting the information leak to the rebels humans. The information on how to seperate the soul from the human host. Groups of rebels have been sprouting up faster than ever, always in hiding.
The plot focuses on a group of rebels lead by a human girl named Cassie. They are hidden deep in the Rocky Mountains, mostly occupying abandoned mine shafts but also inhabit more natural caves. In the wilderness, there are humans that have been deemed 'runners'. These humans have not joined the rebels for whatever reasons- maybe they don't know about them, or they could just not want to join them.
Meanwhile, in a city only a few miles away, a soul city thrives. Rebellion has just began to shift this part of the country and the new mountain rebels are determined to fight. The city is mostly controlled by, Fire Wielder, a powerful Seeker. So far, the Rebels have managed to stay undectected.
But how long will it last?

Many, many years ago, lived an middle aged man. He was a very rich man. But he had nothing to do with all of this money that he had. He just had it to have it. He lived alone up in the mountains. He did nothing for a living but write stories and every once in a while he would get a grand idea to build the perfect high school. The young man never put his idea into action until one day when the time just hit him right and he told himself "todays the day I'll put my idea into action." So thats just what the man did. He went to the city and found only the best construction workers to build the school. It took years to build this amazing school. That he ended up naming Painted Illusions. Well the boarding school became very popular, and many came to go to this school and many just came to look at this school because it was amazing.
Behind this school were acres of land and at the end of all of that land was a large but dark forest. He built a couple of the finest barns and a few pastures with the nicest grass any one had ever laid eyes upon. He put automatic waterer's in the pastures and in the stalls as well. But even though this school and what lay behind it was amazing there was something that wasn't right about the forest. No one was getting good vibes about the forest at all. Well one night some of the students at the boarding school were having a party and after that party a few drunk guys and there friends went to see what was in the forest. What they found in the forest was not what they expected. They expected something less then what they saw. There lay a haunted grave yard. There was weird noises all around but then it would go quiet at times. Then they'd hear more noises of screaming. The grave yard was called Black Ghost Cemetary
Since it was night and they all didn't really believe what they saw they all went back to the school and slept on it. But there was one that just couldn't get over what she had just seen. So she went online and looked up Black Ghost Cemetary. And she found only one match to what she had saw earlier that night. The internet page read
"Black Ghost Cemetary. Beware. Those who see the past rarely live to see the present. Meaning, you enter the grave yard and try and escape the clutches of it you will be murdered within a week. I suggest you stay away if you have a choice. If you leave the property after that and don't return within 48 hours you will have a terrible curse. Though if you stay on the property you could end up with a curse that only the ghosts of the cemetary may cause you to have or you will never be the same."
The girl got so frightened of the school that she tried to leave the next day without telling anyone of her departure. But when she went back to go get her horse she saw a dark figure immerging from the forest and coming at her slowly repeating "now your here... you can't leave... if you leave you will be killed within a week of leaving" She didn't listen to the ghost and thought it was all bull crap. Well it wasn't but later that day the girl got a curse cast upon her. She couldn't find anything as to why she would have such a curse. Then she remembered what she saw on that site with the info about the grave yard on it. She ended up being murdered within a week of leaving. Back at the school no one knew what had happened to the girl, but some say that she has returned and that she haunts the school trying to escape and warn the students and staff at the school. Sometimes they sware they hear her knocking on the doors of the school trying to return into teh school to stop her death.
Not many know of the grave yard but those that are foolish enough to enter the grave yard are may become cursed or become scarred for life. But outside of the life of the haunting the school is amazing and the town and city around it is just so much fun to go to. Just remember to stay away from the grave yard or you will be cursed FOREVER to stay at the school as your soul slowly dies and rots in the grave yard. Will you have fun and stay away from the Grave Yard? Or enter the grave yard and be cursed forever? Choose wisely your life if on the line.

Plot:
Plot: The city has been abandoned. No humans live here. About 9 years ago, a horrible and destructive disease spread through here, affecting all the humans. Also, just before the humans vanished, the government launched a nuclear attack, killling every human alive. The horses were exposed to the radiation, and they ended up becoming immune to things. Though, they're not mutant, they are indestructable. The horses are free to roam over every inch of the land, wandering into cities. The city itself, lies in ruins and shambles. But what happened, instead of the equines banding together, they ended up separating and creating three main herds. These three main herds rule certain parts of the city. While there are subherds, these three herds are actually fighting against one another, wanting to be the one main survial herd in the city. They despise each other and will often resent anyone who associates with them.

Well we've got a surprise for you. At The Secret it's not just about good and evil. In fact, good and evil don't have a lot to do with things. No matter whose side you're on, you can be as nice or as cruel as you see fit. But if you live in the north you'd better be tough if you want to stay alive. Here's a summary of what kinds of characters you can make:
Southern equines: The Resistance. You like freedom and would rather be left to your own devices. Conquering is not really your thing, you just want to be left alone to start a herd. Weakland equines: The Captives. You keep your head down and hope you don't get beaten up too often. You dream of escaping to the south, but know you'll be killed for trying. Mostly mares live here, though there is a small number of stallions. They usually get beaten down the most so they can't rebel. Northern equines: Tartarus's Legions. You work for the mastermind, Tartarus, the one who blew the news about the object of power out into the open. You answer to his captain Atlas, and you spend your time fighting, bullying mares in the Weaklands, and training colts for the army. If you have any spare time you can gather a small herd. Haven of Hesperides: The Secret Keepers. You know not hate nor greed, and you live within the walls of the Haven. You may leave to explore, but other equines seem so different to you. You live in peace and philosophy, seeking knowledge and enlightenment. But you know what is brewing, and the battle will come to your doorstep even though they cannot break down the door.

What's going on... ?
There was peace once, though by now it is but a distant memory in the minds of those old enough to remember. There was order and cohesion, and nothing to fear. The Keepers of Hesperides stayed within their walled Haven, and none disrupted their peace. There was always a rumor that an object of unspeakable power lay hidden within those great walls, but in time the rumor grew dull with age. But now a young stallion, maddened with greed, is gathering all the information he can about this mysterious object of celestial power. Flanked by the powerful drafts of the northern lands, he is murdering and taking prisoners left and right. There is only a handful of southern herds that stand against him, led by the mysterious Theseus. If they are vanquished, the Keepers will be on their own. Chaos and uncertainty abound. How much longer can the forces of reason hold off this madman?
The board is set, the pieces are in play. Whose side will you join?
PLOT The blood spilt on that dreary night. The bombs hit everywhere around them, parading around them as if they were nothing but aunts. Most didn’t panic to bad, they figured it would stop before long. But it didn’t. It lasted for hours, maybe even days. No one could remember. No one wanted to remember. That was a long time ago to horses though. Only those who were old and about to die anyways could remember, and it scared their lives severely. No one even knew were the bombs came from. But that my dears is the past. Even though that was a long time ago, Azeri is still trying to come back to the way it was. Horses weren’t the same anymore. They were the only ones who ever walked the world of Azeri, with exceptions of a few creatures such as birds. But they weren’t close and as happy any more. Instead of being one big herd like they used too, stallions started claiming lands for themselves, and claiming mares. They became the one thing the had told themselves long ago what they would never do, be like the once upon a time Earth horses. Earth though is the old Azeri. Earth was re-named to Azeri, the only creatures that were still alive were Horses and a few smaller creatures. Humans hadn’t walked this earth in millions of years, and no history was present of them, the horses didn’t even know what humans are. But the horses had forgot their old promises, they are going back to ancient ways. This is the world of Azeri. The plot is still unfolding, don’t you want to be a part of it?

The demonic king spread his wings rather wide and put forth a bone chilling scream to awake the many dead. He had his dead wonder upon the empty barren lands in which he had found and sent them to kill all those around who were not quite worthy. The wolves were killed off and their packs broke apart, many became loners and begged to please the demonic king. He was never satisfied and had his multiple ghost dominions extract the souls of all the living upon the earth. Every wolf was dieing away, soon none would be in existence and would come to live as a prisoner to the demonic king wolf in hell.
Yet from the clouds hovering above the graceful angelic wolf king couldn't stand the madness deep below the earth. He sent forth his own dominions whom worshiped that of the light, not the darkness like the demonic king. They went to the unclaimed bit of land and put those wolves remaining into a peaceful slumber, then dragged them to the clouds to live within freedom to the heaven realm. The battle was beginning, light against dark.
The demonic king wanted to claim the land for the un-dead and those of the darkest of hearts. All the while the angelic king wanted peaceful loving wolves on the bit of unclaimed land. However, the wolves on the land had no alliance and held the heart of both light and dark. The battle continued for many years until at last a wolf of no alliance, one in which they speak as neutral, came forth. He banished both the angelic king and demonic king from the earth, and pulled back all the wolves they had taken from the earth. But those who had been captured from the angelic king already adopted a light loving life, while those imprisoned in hell were flooded by madness and evil.
Now the lands are separated with lights, neutrals and darks. Three kings and three queens are able to live and rule over their alliance.

In the beginning, the Gods were born from Eternity and Creation. They were left ot thier own designs and created a world inhabited by their 'children': horses. For many hundreds of years the Gods ruled peacefully over their world and were praised by the equines below. But, even though they were mighty Gods and had each other, Thyr of the Sun, Avaria of the Earth, Teior of the Water, and Ciaka of the Air still became lonely in their long reign. Despite the protests and warnings of their brother, Rashan of the Moon, four of the Gods chose mortal mares in foal whose children would become DemiGods with power of their own. The children, hued the same and with powers similar to their 'parents,' were thus: Shasa, Avaria's daughter, had power over the plants of the world; Torran, Teior's son, was granted the gift of controlling running water and rain; Ciaka's daughter, Airal, ran as fast as the winds her mother controlled. The last foal, the Colt Thyr blessed with the power of Fire, was Cior and Rashan despaired to see him born. It was Cior that was the realization of the Moon God's fears. Dark gold in hue, the colt accidentally destroyed his sire with powers he could not comprehend or control and he and his dam were driven into exile. For many long years no one heard from Cior but when he returned he had changed. he was no longer Thyr's beloved DemiGod. His coat was black, tainted by the Shadow Magic he had discovered, and his build had shifted from a light, airy frame to heavy and powerful; Cior was a warped stallion now and the world trembled at his coming. In time he claimed a land alongside those of his sibling DemiGods and, using his Dark power, imprisoned many horses at a huge rock in the middle of his tainted land. Some horses, twisted and warped as he was, turned to his side and before anyone knew it, even the Gods, the world had split into two sides: The PureHearted, who wished to protect their herds and way of life, and the Impure, who wanted power over others and loved Cior's new way of life. In the new regime, Cior swore, slaves would be a currency and the Gods would die. So far no great battle has been fought but war is looming on the horizon and the Gods and Cior prepare their respective people for battle. Whose side will you join? The choice is yours; The odds are even and the board is set. Let the games begin.

The Horses of Valyrn is a wild horse RPG that has some funky twists. ^^
There's no history to the realm, only that there were some spirits (including Jalorix & Selenia --- go explore Valyrn to learn who they are) that got really bored one day and decided to make a world of rainbow-ponies for their own entertainment.
Sound stupid? I swear it's not. Well, at least, it's not as stupid as some of those other rainbow-pony RPGs out there. Wait, there aren't any? This is the first you've seen? Oooh.
The thing with THV is that the horses are basically normal, except they can have really abstract markings in whatever color you (the creator) want. Want a chestnut mare with electric-blue flowers on her butt? You got it. Want a black stallion with fire-markings up his legs? Hell yeah!
But bonfire, how on earth is this interesting? Aha! You doubt my brilliance? My friends, read on.
The horses tend to ally themselves to others with the same color or pattern of markings. That means that you'll usually see a herd of horses with markings in hues of green (or some other color), or a herd with markings shaped like hearts (or some other pattern). Some are very proud of their markings, but some wish they had another color or pattern. Some herds are weird and accept everyone, no matter what color or pattern, but it's rare. Another rare thing is a horse with regular markings (like socks or a blaze --- regular markings you'd see on a regular horse). Even rarer is a horse with no markings at all! Tsk, tsk. What happens to these poor ponies? They form their own herds, of course. Usually against the Marked Ones, but sometimes you get that pathetic pony who wishes they had a marking.
Kind of like that story about the Sneetches by Dr. Seuss, huh?
In any case, the colors make the herds. Wanna play?
